The Church of England in Saddleworth worships God revealed to us in Jesus Christ. We welcome all who seek God, regardless of race, age, gender, or sexual orientation. We affirm that the Church's mission, in obedience with Holy Scripture is to proclaim the unfailing love of God in every generation. We are a team of nine churches serving our community through prayer and friendship.

'Caring better for one another'

The Team Leadership Council of the Church of England in Saddleworth has agreed to put into place a Pastoral Care scheme in response to community need.

Pastoral Care is a demonstration of God's love. It seeks to reach out to those within and beyond the church family. A caring church is the responsibility of all the baptised and encourages the community to seek the Faith we share.

New Curate to join Benefice

We are pleased to announce that Aaron Jackman will be joining the team of clergy as a curate.

Aaron, Gemma, Hope and Abraham move into Dobcross vicarage this coming weekend. Aaron will be ordained Deacon at Manchester Catherdral on 2nd July.
